Effective 17 August 2026

Lumeira records the dream you describe on waking, transcribes it, and turns it into a short film you appear in. That means it handles unusually personal material — your face, your voice, and the things your mind does at night. This explains plainly what is collected, where it goes, and how to get rid of it.

What Lumeira collects

Lumeira does not collect your location, contacts, browsing activity, or advertising identifiers. There are no third-party analytics SDKs in the app, no trackers, and no advertising. The app records its own usage events — screens opened, a dream captured, an error — in Lumeira's own database, to understand what works and what breaks. This website uses privacy-friendly analytics that count page views without cookies or cross-site identifiers.

About your face

The photo you provide is used to generate a stylised avatar that resembles you, so you recognise yourself in your dreams. Lumeira does not perform biometric identification, does not create a faceprint, and does not use your photo to identify you anywhere else or match you against any other image.

About photos of other people

Adding someone to your cast means uploading a photograph of their face so it can be used to generate their likeness. Only add photos of people who have agreed to it. If someone wants their likeness removed, delete them from your cast, or write to us and we will remove them.

How your dreams are processed

Turning a dream into a film requires sending your content to services that run the AI models. In each case the data is sent for the sole purpose of returning a result to you:

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train any model of our own. Neither fal.ai nor Anthropic uses your dreams or reflections to train their models, per their API terms. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Who can see your dreams

Your dreams are private by default. No other user of Lumeira can see them. They are visible to you, and technically accessible to the developer through the database only where necessary to operate or fix the service. If you explicitly share a dream, only what you choose to share leaves the app.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your dreams are kept until you delete them. Deleting a dream removes its transcript and generated media. Deleting your account removes your dreams, your avatars, your cast, and your account record.

To delete your account, open the You tab and choose Delete my account. You may also email the address below, and it will be done within 30 days.

Children

Lumeira is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Write to the address below.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the app will tell you before the change takes effect.
